Chicago’s Johnny May Cash worked his way up as a member of Chop Squad, formed by the city’s central producer Young Chop. For his debut mixtape, My Last Days, the rapper worked extensively with his crew leader, who supplied beats for half of the project. Like many in the city, Johnny utilizes auto-tune to deliver his verses with extra melody and texture.
